• Majority of all seafood is sourced locally from fishermen working within the Madang region and surrounding islands.

• 90% of all food is sourced locally, from the Highlands of Papua New Guinea and the village market where food artisans from the surrounding islands of Madang come to sell their exotic fruit and vegetables. 

• All artwork displayed throughout Madang Resort and Kalibobo Village is sourced from local Papua New Guinean artisans.

• Harvest rainwater which is recycled and used throughout Madang Resort and Kalibobo Village.

• Niugini Dive Adventures staff assist in dive site clean-ups by collecting rubbish from the ocean floor when not taking guests on dive charters as well as collecting rubbish on and around the island when stopped for surface intervals.

• Bed linen/Towels – We change them every 3 days or weekly for stays longer than a week
