Dive Shop
Our Dive Shop offers a range of quality dive and snorkel gear for hire. Our products include the basics like fins, snorkels and masks right through to your open water diving equipment.
Our team of highly experienced, and certified, divers bring a wealth of knowledge about the range of dive sites available, and diving gear.
All hired dive gear is cleaned after each dive charter. For divers with their own diving equipment, cleaning facilities are available - or we can do it for you.
For larger diver charters, portable compressors are also available to fill tanks when out on the reefs.
In addition, guests can hire the following sporting equipment during their stay at Madang Resort.

Dive Instructor:
Can take out divers who do not hold a dive ticket, or have never dived before.
Can teach, and certify, divers from the entry base dive ticket (open water ticket) up to the more advanced level diver.
Dive Master:
Certified one level below a Dive Instructor
Able to guide certified divers on dives (open water ticket to advanced).
Unable to teach or certify divers.

All of our dive boats can be hired for private fishing charters or to tour the surrounding islands and waters of Madang.
We can also provide guided water and island touring

Costs are priced in PGK and US Dollars. Prices are valid until July 2023.
All prices include Environment and DAN diver insurance fees.
Prices do NOT include gear hire.
Snorkelling requires minimum 2 PAX
The cost of dive and snorkelling packages to Bagabag Island, Karkar Island and North Coast Dive sites reflect their offshore location and the greater travelling time involved.
In the event that the required minimum number of passengers, and or divers is not met, a fuel surcharge may apply and will be subject to the dive site location.
Pricing is subject to change and excludes all accommodation, diving gear hire and incidental charges.
All dive packages are subject to availability of boats and instructors; and weather conditions.
Morning Tea is a selection of fresh fruit and water.
Any dietary requirements should be advised at the time of your booking.
