Barracuda Point
Approximately 15 minutes from Madang Resort and located on the east corner of Pik Island.
Barracuda Point is a pressure point on Pik Islands’ reef wall. The current flows perfectly along this part of the reef thus creating a magnet for large fish and marine life.
On the incoming tide, this pressure point is bustling with yellow-tailed fusilier, chromis and large schools of trevally, sweetlips and most commonly Barracuda, hence the name. Silvertip, Great Hammerhead sharks and Mobula rays have been spotted here occasionally.
